  1. Create a Salesforce Account

The second step is to create a Salesforce account.

Go to Salesforce > enter your details (Trial version of Salesforce will open)

Click on your profile icon > go to settings (You will land on 'My Personal Information' category)

Click on 'Reset My Security Token' (A new security token will be received on the registered email id)

  1. Configure MuleSoft 

Go to MuleSoft palette > click on 'HTTP' > drag the listener into designated workspace > go to 'Global Elements' > click on the 'Create' button > go to 'Connector Configuration' > click on the left-side arrow > select 'HTTP Listener Config' > click OK > click OK on the next pop-up

Once this is done, go to 'MuleSoft Palette' > click on 'Add Modules' > drag and drop 'Salesforce' along other items in Mule Palette

In 'Mule Palette', click on 'Search in Exc' > click on 'add account' > click on 'configure' > choose 'Anypoint Platform as authentication > enter MuleSoft credentials > click on OK > click on 'configure' > select Anypoint Platform > click OK

  1. Integrate with Salesforce

These steps are used for integrating MuleSoft and Salesforce.

Type 'Salesforce' in the empty field > select Salesforce Connector' from the list > add the element > click on 'Finish'

Once you have ensured that the test connection is successful, drag 'query' from Salesforce modules > add Salesforce-config' in basic settings > type Salesforce query > select the query > select run as 'Mule Application' 

This will give you the application status as 'deployed' in the console.
