Prerequisites:

No specific prerequisites are required for this program but the following skills are good to have.

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, subnets, routing)
• Understanding of firewall concepts (Stateful inspection, NAT, VPNs)
• CLI Skills (Basic command-line interface- especially Junos OS)
• Basic security knowledge (Firewalls, ACLs, security policies)
• Familiar with Junos OS helpful but not required for beginners

• Setting up and managing Juniper SRX firewalls.
• Configuring security zones, interfaces, and policies to control traffic.

2. Traffic Filtering

• Implementing stateful and stateless inspection for secure traffic flow.
• Creating and managing security policies, NAT, and VPN rules.

3. VPN Setup

• Configuring site-to-site and remote-access VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPNs).

4. Security Features
